Pink, on being three legged: "I never doubt that I can do anything I want to do, I just have to figure out a different way than most other dogs. Sometimes to jump on the couch, I have to back up like I am an airplane on a runway, and then fly right onto the couch! Once in a while, I slip before I make it in the air, but I just restart my engine and aim higher."

Toaster, on how to relax: "My favorite time of the day is when we go outside to the swing with the soft sheet on it in the front yard, and just hang out and shoot the breeze with mom. Especially if she brings a treat for us!"
